I think I first realised that modern Minecraft isn't as fun as it used to be around version 1.8. Of course I've never completely quit playing it, but I started getting frustrated. There were just too many blocks that I never used. I had trouble planning my builds, I couldn't decide on a block palette, and I kept comparing them to all those aesthetic builds on pinterest. That's when I realised I can just play on an older version!
My castle! Or maybe a fort? I don't know. It only has the front walls so far. Still work in progress.
Here is the inside of the castle.
And the interior. I haven't decided how to decorate it yet.
The storage
Miller's house and farm
The windmill
The inside of the windmill. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't make it a Petscop reference
The spawn tree. It marks the spawnpoint.
A path to the nether portal.
And the portal itself. I have to decorate it cause it's boring as hell (maybe because it leads to literal hell?)
This is my first base on this save! Nothing special tbh
